Things to do Jewel Changi Airport, Changi?

While you can't hop on a flight to a winter wonderland over the holidays, you most certainly can enjoy a tropical Christmas at Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport. The undisputed best airport in the world – for the eighth consecutive year – is spreading the Yuletide cheer with colossal dinosaur displays, a winter holiday house, a go-karting track, a fun-charged carnival, and unique glamping experiences. But what's Christmas without all the trimmings? Over at Jewel, feast your eyes on the 16-metre-tall Christmas tree at Shiseido Forest Valley, and get frosty with the hourly snowfall in the lush indoor garden and Canopy Park which is adorned with sparkly festive decorations.

Get into the festive spirit with all of Universal Studios Singapore’s (USS) yuletide trimmings, including adorable characters from Despicable Me, Minions, Sesame Street, Madagascar, and Shrek spreading the Christmas cheer in their festive ensemble. While waiting for Santa Claus (here's hoping the travel restrictions won't hold him back), you can immerse in his own magical movie land in USS' New York. Adorned with interactive movie sets, Lights, Camera, Christmas invites all to step into its hot air balloon, and topsy turvy house. And as always, there are the thrilling rides to make it a season to remember.

Since travelling is off the cards for now, Gardens by the Bay is bringing a slice of Europe to the tropics with the return of Poinsettia Wishes. Soak in the yuletide scenes at the Flower Dome where the highlight is a replica of Gouda City Hall, an iconic landmark in the Netherlands visited by locals and tourists for the annual Christmas light-up. And what’s Poinsettia Wishes without the festive flora? Treat your senses to plants such as poinsettias, cyclamens, pansies, hellebores, and of course, real Christmas trees. And if you’ve been nice (and not naughty), Santa might even swing by for some meet-and-greet sessions.
